Halloween 2017!

We almost didn't do pumpkins this year, but the boys convinced Nathaniel to get some pumpkins. Instead of having 6 different pumpkins, we went the easy route and only bought 2 pumpkins and had a couple of faces carved on different sides of those. Everyone was happy and cleanup wasn't as bad!

This pumpkin ended up with 4 faces on it (Logan got a little carve-happy)

Joshua's awesome carving!

Jonas came up with his own costume by grabbing random things from the costume bin. Wesley decided he wanted to draw on his face...with marker!

Everyone except Nathaniel (who was taking the picture) and Joshua (who was decorating the trunk).

Fall Break!

Nathaniel had Friday off and the boys had no school because of parent teacher conference, so we decided to go to the Tacoma Zoo and then spend the night in a hotel with a swimming pool. The next morning we drove up to Paradise on Mount Rainier. It was a gorgeous upper 50's day! We got so hot on our hike that we even took off our jackets. Brigham really loved the "nose" (snow), so did the other boys of course. It was my first time up close and personal with this mountain. It is sooooo beautiful and amazing up there!

A bit of Caroline!

I found all these cute pictures of Caroline that I hadn't posted. We sure love our Girly!

We were all playing a game at the table and looked over to see this!

Joshua turns 13!

I officially have a teenager! Crazy to think he is now 13 and becoming a wonderful young man. He didn't want any big celebration for his birthday so we had a low key party with just family and next door cousins. He doesn't like cake, so he asked for ice cream cake instead. I made a mint oreo ice cream cake for him. He loved it! His big present was an adult sized bike that he thinks is really awesome. He also got a Hank Smith Collection of talks on CD. He has already finished listening to that and really enjoyed the laughs and hopefully learned some good things about being a youth in the Church.
