Beach

Last Saturday it was a bit warmer day with some sunshine, so we bundled up and went to a beach nearby to collect shells, rocks, and see the lighthouse. We had a good time and are all ready for Spring to come!

Logan's 3rd Birthday!

Logan turned 3 years old and has been potty trained for just over a week! Logan had cupcakes with gummy bears on top and we had a small family party that consisted of his brothers, mom and dad, uncle David, and cousin Katelyn. He opened presents and then we all played with them. Logan loved the Cars race track color page that was in the birthday card from Granny and Grandad. Wesley decided to show off on Logan's birthday by learning to crawl!! He can get all over the place now, especially on the slippery wood floors where he just pulls with his arms and drags his legs behind!!

Christmas and New Year!

Sorry I have to back track to Christmas since I haven't posted pictures of our fun. Christmas seemed to fly by especially because Mama and Papa Burt were packing and getting ready to leave for their mission! Christmas day was joyous and sad, we will miss Grandma and Grandpa! The boys had a good time opening presents and playing around with their new nerf guns, playhouse, teepee, Wii game, etc. The boys didn't start school again until the 7th, so we had a lot of time to fill on christmas break. Nathaniel and I decided to bring all the rest of our storage boxes from the garage into the house which was a major chore. We found things that were starting to grow mold!! So, it was a major cleanup job that made the main floor of the house look a wreck (so glad mama and papa Burt didn't see the house like that!) It took a couple of days to clear things out and clean up, but the house is back to normal. Nathaniel got a BB/Pellet gun for Christmas, so on New Years day he took the boys out to shoot along with David and his older kids. Nathaniel and David also took the older kids on a snow trip to the mountains where they stayed the night in a cabin and went sledding all day! It was very quiet at home during that time when I only had Logan and Wesley to take care of.
