Growing Baby!

Look what we pulled out of storage this past week! Brigham is now old enough to sit in the high chair and to start tasting baby food. He always sucks his lips and tongue, so I just put a small amount of baby food in his mouth and he swallowed most of it. My other babies would get more on their bib than in their mouth!

Another Hike!

Nice Day for a hike!

Nathaniel, Joshua, and Grandpa went for a day hike up Mt. Townsend on Monday. It was perfect weather for hiking, rather hot down at our house but that makes it not too cold up the mountain! They were really sore afterwards and went to bed early.

Spring Break Part 2!

The second half of Spring Break was packed full of a Mariner's game, swimming at the Bainbridge Island Pool (has a cool water slide and lazy river), bike ride with daddy, and basking in the sun at Point No Point beach. On the last day of Spring Break (Sunday) our Turkey eggs started hatching! We have 3 that made it through the hatching process, 2 that didn't make it all the way, one we are waiting on, and a bunch that didn't grow at all. Yes, we are novices and now know how we can improve! 

Wesley kept calling the beach a sandbox! He was still little last summer and most likely doesn't remember the beach experience.

 I wanted to take a picture of Logan but he kept coming closer and closer and not stopping. He was asking me if he had an eyelash in his eye!

 The first turkey to hatch! So exciting! The picture isn't the best because I had to take it through the incubator window which is plastic, scratched and not very clear.

 Here are 2 of the baby turkey's all fluffed up and in their own box. Hopefully they get the hang of eating and drinking soon!

Spring Break Part 1!

Spring Break started off with mommy taking all six boys over to northern Idaho to visit cousins. I was very nervous about driving all alone and not having Nathaniel's help, but we survived! We had a great time playing, celebrating Gideon's Birthday, and listening to General Conference.

It has been awhile since Wesley and Logan have been on the ferry. They loved it!

Brigham has learned some new tricks over the past week. He has discovered he can put his feet and socks into his mouth!

And, he is trying to roll over! He has only done it twice now but it is so cute to watch him try. He is usually trying to roll over in order to get something nearby into his mouth!

Nathaniel turns 34!

I had to post this picture because I can't get over how gorgeous his eyes are with the full eyelashes that curl up naturally! If he would only hold still for a picture; one limb or another is always moving.

We had a fun and quiet celebration for Nathaniel's birthday.

I tried my hand at checkerboard cake! It looks cool but fell apart on the plate. The chocolate cake was too soft and broke so many times while I was putting the cake together.
