Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Burt for the idea for Jonas' cake! He loves 'I Spy' and the book you got him was perfect! Jonas really enjoyed his presents from grandparents. His big present was a bike that we got for him a few months ago. We celebrated his birthday by going to McDonald's and getting him a kid's meal (first one ever) and then painted fun wooden airplanes and cars. I know that last activity is not your traditional birthday activity, but my boys love crafts and painting, so it was just right for us. Joshua got to go to the zoo for school on Jonas' birthday, parents could go to chaperone unfortunately siblings couldn't go. Thank you also for the birthday gifts and wishes for Laurie Beth!
