New Living Room

Mama and Papa Burt have sold their baby grand piano and the Living Room looks very different without it! I have only ever seen it with the piano, so it is new to me to not have it there. We have moved furniture around and filled up space with the Christmas tree. November has been the month of the Dentist! Our dentist will not see more than two people from the same family in one day, so I have had to space out the appointments. Then, some of the boys had cavities to fix, and Joshua had to see a Pediatric Dentist and an Orthodontist for his spacing issues!! I never want to set foot in a dentist office again (at least not for a while)! I always stress out about those visits because of mine and the boys' history of teeth troubles.  Anyway, Last night there was an earthquake! It was a small one, and I didn't really feel any shaking. I woke up because of a loud noise at the back of the house like someone slamming a door or some large animal smacking into the wall! Then a sound by our bedroom door of a picture swishing back and forth on the wall, but there is no picture there!! I was scared!!! But after laying there listening for any other strange noises, I was calming down when Jonas calls out to me in a very frightened voice! That forced me to jump out of bed and see what he needed, and check the house for burglars or something. Glad to know it was just an earthquake, but man my imagination was vivid last night.
