After troubles with the excavator not working, yesterday it finally worked enough to load up and haul away. Today, some supplies were dropped off and another excavator came to pick up on the work again!

Mariners Game Video
At one point during the game, some good dancing music came on and we were able to catch Joshua head bobbin' to it! So fun!
30th Birthday!
My 30th Birthday was wonderful! I took the Primary boys to a Stake activity that celebrated the end of their prayer challenge. They had a good time, and I was able to leave them for an hour and go to the mall to use a gift card at Bath and Body Works and then get some teryaki chicken from my favorite place in Silverdale! That afternoon, we ate my angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream. Late afternoon, we dropped off Logan and Wesley at a friends house and the rest of us caught a ferry over to Seattle to see a Mariners game! It was so great! Jesse played on the Ipad most of the game, but Jonas and Joshua seemed to have a good time. Joshua was on the edge of his seat with his Baseball glove on and ready to catch a fly ball. It was also bat night so the kids all got a free bat! I realized later that I was the one who took all the pictures, so I am not in any of them : (

Baby Burt!
Here is the first picture of our new little one! Such an adorable profile! This baby was very very very active during the entire ultrasound (it did a full somersault) so I should be feeling it's movements soon I think.

Especially for Momma and Papa Burt
Work began yesterday at about lunch time, the kids were so excited to see the big truck at work!
Here is the before picture in the back yard.
Here is the result of a half days work. They also spray painted a circle on the ground over where the septic tank is going : )
Before picture looking at the clearing were the home will be (if you were standing almost where your side porch will be)
After picture, it all looks like a big mess to me, but progress is being made!
Looking up the driveway before work, I don't think Nathaniel got one from the point of view after the work. I think it is the same except most of the logs and wood on the ground are gone or piled off to the side.

Picture of our daily visitors! Very entertaining to watch during breakfast and dinner.

Week of Summer!
So we had a fabulous week of summer-like weather and took full advantage of it!
Jesse can't push the mower by himself, so Jonas is kind enough to help him.
On the hottest day of the week (75 degrees) we went the slough.
While helping clear some branches from the land where the Burt Grandparents will be building their house, Jesse slipped and fell in the mud! He got cleaned up and hurried back out to help some more. He is such an enthusiastic helper!
I completely skipped posting about Easter! At the ward easter brunch, Logan didn't find very many eggs, but he did find the golden egg which earned him the jar of candy seen in the picture below.
Coloring eggs!
We finally got around to buying Joshua his Bear stuff, and he struck a pose for me.

Burt Doings!
Here are a few pictures to show a little of what has been going on in the past few weeks. Logan decided to put on Daddy's rubber boots (he was so proud to be wearing them)!
Jesse posing with his new helmet he got from the firefighters who came to his school.
Joshua and Cody at the Pinewood Derby. Joshua was a bit grumpy but cheered up once we got there.
He started out strong! his is the one on the yellow lane!
One beautiful Monday we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and went out to Salsbury Park for a picnic dinner and FHE activity.
