Brigham Boyd Burt joined our family on November 21 at 11:14 am, weighing a whopping 9 lbs and 20 1/4 in. All the brothers are so happy and proud! Wesley didn't come to the hospital to see Brigham because he has a bit of a cough.
I have only these two pictures of Joshua's birthday, but I do have a lot of video especially of the Baseball Pinata that he had. Joshua told me this year that he doesn't like cake, so he had to come up with something else and chose a cookie pizza. He got spoiled this year! A new bike, Seahawks shirt, Mariners lunch pail, nice winter coat, and other fun stuff. We just invited family, but Joshua had a good day. We did have the primary program practice the morning of his birthday but they got pizza there, then we got to come home and celebrate! Mommy and Joshua also got to go to dinner the night before his birthday to the Olive Garden (Joshua loves the breadsticks there). I can't believe I have a kid in the double digits! He is such a great help to his family and has such awesome ideas. I am also proud of him for accomplishing his Bear requirements in Cub Scouts (although you can tell from his expression that he is sooooo over having his mom take his picture at scouts!).
The boys were so excited to go back to school yesterday! They woke up in the morning and said what a looooooong night it had been. Then, they got all showered, dressed, and ready for school by 7:30 and then sat around saying "is it time to go yet?" "I just want to get to school" "this morning is going so slow!" Jesse did wonderful going all day for the first time. He felt like such a big kid with his lunchbox, and didn't want any adult down at the road to pick him up when he got off the bus!
Wesley found Logan's 'school' supplies last night and decided to get artsy! I hope he doesn't think that is ok to do just because mommy took a picture of it.
For Labor Day, we went and camped in a cabin at Zion's camp. It was perfect weather for playing in the lake and on boats. We also had a movie party that night in the cabin. The boys said they slept well, but mommy and daddy had a terrible time sleeping on the skinniest, noisiest mattresses ever! It was so fun to see my boys show off their swimming skills and bravery!
