We were so excited to have Grandma and Grandpa and Sara and her kids come visit us! We had a good time hiking, playing, and working. Grandpa spent a week cutting down trees and clearing land for their home. All of the kids loved helping haul branches and watching the big trees come down.
Joshua earned his Wolf badge! We are so proud of him and the hard work he does!!

End of Summer Excitement!
I found a few more ocean pictures, it was really foggy both days.
Saturday we went to the Ward BBQ at Buck Lake and had a really good time! Besides all the great food and wonderful company, their was bean bag toss game, musical water balloons, and a treasure hunt for the kids.
When we got home from that, David and Nathaniel went to pick up the new additions to our family.......PIGS!!! All week the men have been working on the pig pen and the kids kept asking when the pigs were going to come. Well, they came last night and we all loved watching them get settled in. We bought the pigs from our good friends the Cleavers, who made Nathaniel and David catch the pigs themselves (wish I could have seen that). I asked the boys what we are going to name the pigs and got several funny replies: the Grunt Brothers (Cody), Logan and Kaitlyn (Logan), Barbie (Jonas). On a side note, Abi has introduced Jonas to playing Barbies, and Jonas loves it! I think that is what prompted Jonas' suggested pig name.

Update
So much has happened this past month or more. After the visit from Anna and her kids, I had my surgery and my parents came to help us out for a week and a half. During that time, Joshua attended Cub Scout Day Camp and had a blast (the picture of him below is with the wood shelf he made). Grandad and Nathaniel also took the older boys to a Mariners game (Jesse's first baseball game). A few days after my parents left, Allie and Nate came for a visit. On their first day here, Jesse broke his arm!! So, he got to wear a plastic bag for a lot of the next week because we went to the slew and camping at the ocean! The day after we get home from camping, Allie and Nate have left and I am thinking that I can now get my house back in order and lay low. Ya, we discover that three of the boys have LICE!!!! Aarrrrrgggg! I am trying to look on the bright side, at least the house is getting spick and span really fast! Anyway, I have some more fun videos and pictures from the ocean that I will post later.

Vacation!
Wow! What a fast, fun, and unforgettable two weeks it has been!! We had the great joy of having family come visit. Anna and her kids came to spend a week with us that was filled with beautiful days spent at the Ocean, Buck Lake, and other little beaches around town. I never had my camera near by when I wanted to take a picture, but I did get some video of a few of the outings. My boys loved having so many playmates to have adventures with! At the end of Anna's visit, I had by gallbladder removed and Granny and Grandad came to help out with the kids. A week after surgery I am doing well and can even somewhat get back into the swing of parenting again. It was a rough first four days after the surgery because I couldn't get out of bed without help and could only be comfortable flat on my back! Well, hope you all enjoy these pictures!
