The day before Joshua's birthday, he was so excited that he wanted to start decorating for his birthday. I thought 'why not?' so he got some yarn and taped balloons all along it. Then he strung it up over the dining room table and on the wall behind the couch. He had so much fun! I was surprised that it actually looked good! After school on his birthday, Joshua came home and began playing games for his party, such games as don't let the balloon fall in the hot lava and obsticle course. Who needs pin the tail on the donkey when kids come up with these other fun games?! When Nathaniel got home, we opened presents, hit the homemade robot pinata, and ate cupcakes. All the boys had a great time. Joshua got a white board from his parents so he can pratice his reading and writing! He also got his bike(given to him last month), a kids camera, books, and a cuddly stuffed doggy. While Joshua is at school Jonas gets lots of play time with Joshua's presents!

  1. Cody was VERY interested in that robot pinata! Wish we could have come, but maybe next year you'll be closer to us! Sounds like a fun birthday.

  2. I love how you need very little money to have a joyous birthday party, complete with decorations, pinata and cupcakes!
