Lookout Mountain

On Saturday we went up to Lookout Mountain (20 min. drive) and hiked around. We saw Buffalo Bills grave, and there is a neat Nature Center there too. It was very windy, but we had a good time. Joshua gathered cool looking rocks, and Jesse and Jonas were wonderful and walked the entire time without complaining. Logan kept trying to climb Nathaniel's back so it was a good thing he was strapped in the hiking pack! It was a beautiful view out over to the city, but a bit flat. The mountains were gorgeous although we were too late to see the fall foliage. I am glad to be back near majestic mountains! We forgot to bring our new binoculars with us, so I guess we will get to go again soon and remember to take them.
